Nothing to see here…that we want to report
The Trib relies mainly on the Associated Press for national news. Accordingly, Trib readers using The Trib as their main news source likely believe that Hunter Biden’s tax and gun problems are over. The AP article last Tuesday reported that he had agreed to a plea deal and provided supporting comments that this five-year investigation is now resolved.
Conveniently, this agreement came days before two IRS whistleblowers under oath provided lurid details of the Hunter investigation and the serious resistance they encountered from the Justice Department, despite assurances under oath to the contrary by Attorney General Garland.
The AP and almost all other mainstream media sources totally ignored these extensive whistleblower details as they had done with several recent House investigations, which uncovered bank records tracking over $10 million in payments from foreign interests to nine different Biden family members.
If you want to know what is really happening, rely on sources other than the AP, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, and others who continue to refuse to cover what clearly appears to be a major scandal at the highest levels.
In 2024, we need to elect new leaders who will restore integrity at the Department of Justice and the FBI to assure that scoundrels from both political parties see equal justice under the law. The Trib also needs to find a more reliable news source than the AP.
